Lupines in a field - Sugar Hill, New Hampshire
More lupines on Pearl Lake in Sugar Hill.
One of my favorite photos, not taken this year.
Nubble Point Lighthouse - Cape Neddick, Maine
Also known as Cape Neddick Light - taken in July

Adirondack chairs on a lawn, with a nice view.

York, Maine

Autumn is my favorite time of year.
The leaves in New Hampshire will all be changing soon. This is always one of the first trees that I seem to notice close to home. This was not taken this year, but many trees are already looking just like this one. Taken at "The Great Island Common" in New Castle, NH

  1. ...for me LUPINES will always be a good choice.
...the mist LOOKS LOVELY coming off the LAKE!
...I'd LOVE to see Nubble Point LIGHTHOUSE in person, perhaps soon day.
...those Adirondack chairs sure LOOK LIKE a great place to sit.
...the LEAVES are starting to turn here too.
    Thanks Dawn for stopping by.

  2. The Lupines are sooo pretty, I like the dark blue, almost purple. They often identified with our wild Texas Bluebonnets, our State Flower. My favorite is your Nubble Point Lighthouse - Cape Neddick, Maine. My sister likes them better than we do although we've been in more. In 2004 our October three week holiday (we were retired) ended in Maine so we may have seen yours here. I will check some. We flew to Manchester and rented a car, staying at B&B's. Our first stop was at Lake Sunapee for three nights, Stowe Vermont, Montreal two nights, East Township for a week, back to M ok ntreal, then across Vermont to Maine. My Great grandmother was a Cram and my GGFather was a Fletcher. They left Maine in the mid/late 1800's and were married in Nebraska where they lived. My GGF founded a town with a Post Office, named "Fletcher". The remnants all blew down in a 1940's tornado.
    TMI, kinda Sorry,
