I snapped this shot, on our recent trip
"Simple Recipe"
1/3 cup softened butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup flour
5 cups tart apples, sliced
a handful of raisins, optional
Place apple slices (and raisins if using) in 8x8 pancombine remaining ingredients and
sprinkle the mixture on top of the apples
Bake at 350 for about an hour

ReplyDeleteLove the transition of apples from fruit to desert - yummy! I went to the desert of Phoenix in 1978, and in the summer too...105° was a cool day!
