The Weekend Roundup "M"
"M" is for
Mom, Mockingbird, Moon, and Monarch
"MOM"
That's me, and my two kids, April and Bryan!
MOTHER'S Day 2017
And, this one is from Christmas 1977
Northern "Mockingbird"
Got this shot in Newburyport, Massachusetts
I love taking pictures of the "MOON"
but, I almost never, can get a good photo when it's full!
"MONARCH" Butterflies
On the pink flower, a few weeks ago
and on the sunflower this past Sunday
"MANY" Butterflies
I came across these butterflies this year in Sugar Hill, New Hampshire.  There were hundreds of them mating on the side of a dirt road, by Pearl Lake and I believe they're some kind of Swallowtail butterfly. I'm fascinated with this capture because I've never seen anything like it before, it was an amazing sight to see. Taken in early June.

"F A V O R I T E"
Hard to pick just one this week,
I LOVE all of them!

  1. ...'M'om is great, I hadn't thought of that.
...the 'M'ockingbird must be loving those red berries.
...I've given up on 'M'oon pictures, they are always awful.
    ...'M'any 'M'onarchs--wonderful.
Thanks Dawn for stopping by, enjoy your weekend.

  3. Dawn, your kids are my favorite picture. I can't get mine, five plus the in-laws, all together at the same time. Monarchs are pretty, the Moon is great. Would it be a Harvest Moon?
