The Weekend Roundup "V"
V is for Violet
V is for Violet
Our oldest grandson "AJ" graduated from high school last week in Colorado. We took a three week vacation, and drove out for the occasion from our home in New Hampshire. This is my first post in several weeks.
Watching our first grandchild graduate, definitely deserves this weeks "FAVORITE"
He will head to Nebraska in the fall, where he'll further his education and play baseball at Hastings College.
"V" is for vegetables
I took this at Golden Harvest Market in Kittery, Maine
"V" is for Volkswagen
A local car that I often see around town
Rainbow at my house this past winter
Who remembers Roy G. Biv?
It's the colors of the spectrum/rainbow
red, orange yellow, green, blue, indigo and "violet"

...WOW, a 'V'iolet graduation! Colorful 'V'eggies sure hit the spot. That 'V'W sure is sweet. Roy G. Biv, I must have been living in a cave all this time, new to me. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your grandson. My granddaughter graduated last month also. I'm so proud as I know you are. Great Vs!
ReplyDeleteA great roundup! Congratulations to your grandson!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Dawn and AJ!! It's been a while but then too, I haven't been real active. I have my left leg immobilized for six months, four still left. My left kneecap broke, we aren't sure why. I had it on my Weekend post last week. Your VW Van is neat and very timely for the "V's". Glad you are back, now you can get cooled again.

Your grandson has achieved a wonderful milestone, and so nice you could be there! I love the VW Microbus, growing up we had a 1968 in this style only it was maroon. I was one of 7 children, and the VW fit all of us inside!
