National Siblings Day

I Treasure My Family
Sibling Photos
My Mom is the one standing in the middle.  When this picture was taken there were seven children. Two more girls were born later, to complete the family of nine children.  Ironically, the only siblings still living are the two that are not shown, the two youngest.  Today, they are 88 and 84.
My Dad is standing next to his Mom, wearing a yellow shirt and a tie. The other boys are all his siblings. Five boys, no girls!  The only one still living is standing next to my Dad in a white shirt.  He's 81.

I love my brother, he's my only sibling and I'm so thankful for him.  We're friends and we live close to each other.  We enjoy talking, texting and love our visits!
These are my two children! They're best friends and so thankful for one another. I love my kids and I'm so thankful for them, they're the best!
My daughter has two boys, and my son has two girls and a boy.

  1. ...lucky you! I come from a small family, no aunts or uncles, no cousins, I have no memory of my grandfathers, one sister. Holidays were small affairs. Thanks Dawn for sharing.
