I fell in love with Kentucky, the first time I went there ♥
Many of my followers know that my husband's Dad grew up on a farm in the very small town of Rhodelia, Kentucky, he was one of 12 children. This is the other family farm next to the one he grew up on, both farms are still family owned, and beautifully maintained, as is the original farm house on this property.

The view looking out, with the shadows from the open slats is my favourite. (but all are nice!)
ReplyDeleteWonderful property and structures. Love the light shining through. Visiting from the Barn Collective.
ReplyDeleteHi Dawn, family properties are special, but farms are something beyond that. Working the family land can be sacred. Thanks for sharing this week, I hope all is going well with you. Please stop back when you can.
ReplyDeleteHello, great series of barn images. I like the one looking out. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice story. I really like the picture you took of the shadows between the slats from the inside of the empty barn. That is an awesome shot. Haley weekend. genie
