My Father, in 1943
He was 18 in this photo, served on a PT Boat in the Philippines during WWII and was badly injured. He also received the Purple Heart. I'm very thankful for his service to our country.
This is my Dad today, at 90 taken January 2016
A few weeks ago I started to blog again after not posting for almost two months. My Dad, who will be 91 this year takes up a lot of my time. I'm thankful that I'm at a point in my life, where I can help him :) He's been in and out of the hospital several times since February, had a few heart attacks, a very mild stroke a few years ago and has also been in and out of hospice care. I spend time with him just about every day and see a lot of improvement with him since February, he truly amazes me how he "bounces" back to pretty good health! I'm hoping now, I will be able to spend some "me" time blogging and photographing. I hope you will enjoy my "picture" blog today. I'm working on a few more!

What a wonderful post. My dad passed away 18 years ago (I miss him) and my mom is 87 now and lives next door. Like you she takes up a lot of my time but I wouldn't have it any other way.
