Tall Tree

This is the first time I've seen it bloom in 2 years. Until now, I had no clue what it was other that a very tall tree. Turns out it's an Ivory Silk Japanese Lilac tree. The blossoms (below) are large and beautiful, not to mention the smell of them! Many of my neighbors told me, sometimes they don't bloom every year.

Tin Man is Tall

My son came last week from AZ, to visit me. I took him to Bernheim Forest and Arboretum. I hated to see him leave this week!
