Bernheim Forest, Birds and Big

I recently found out about Bernheim Aboretum and Research Forest, located on over 16,000 acres in Clermont, KY. It's about 18 miles from me. I'd like to call it a giant nature center! This place is amazing. My pictures below have all been taken here in the past few weeks.

You can walk around the lake inside the Bernheim.

They're a family of three Forest Giants at Bernheim, in Kentucky. There are others in the USA
Creator of the trolls is Thomas Dambo, built from all recycled materials. Below is a short YouTube video about them. You can google them, this is a cute 3 min video of the one just built in Portland, Oregon.
There just might be one near you!

I like the monkey the best. Your birds are much prettier rhan are the monkey pictures. To me they are unique but generally is there to us all the time.
ReplyDeleteClermont, KY is 267 miles from Jackson, TN where my Brother-in-law lives. I wouldnt drive four hours to visit an arboretum, that is like driving to Dallas from Houston. A football game I might.

Dawn I'm glad that you BLOGGER problems have BEEN resolved. The Golden-crowned kinglet is a BIRD that I don't see here. I had hear about Thomas Dambo's sculptures in Kentucky. I'm a fan, BUT haven't see one in person. Here are some that I've featured. Thanks for stopping BY.
