I just returned home from a long weekend in Mystic, Connecticut. Went for a high school reunion, it was so much fun. I lived in Mystic many years ago, seems you never forget your way around town. I was able to take some pictures, here are a few.
A beautiful boat visiting the docks next to the Mystic draw bridge. And, more boats below docked at the Mystic Seaport, CT
An older photo I've saved, but a favorite.
Seagulls, along the coast of Rye, New Hampshire
I posted this photo or similar, a year or so ago.

...years ago we went to Mystic and had a pizza!
ReplyDelete...are those boat or ships DOCKED at the Mystic Seaport?
...that's bunch of DINGHIES.
...just DUCKY.
...and a love DOUBLE!
Thanks DAWN for stopping by.
Ships and some boats. I believe the tall one in the middle is the Charles Morgan. Mystic Pizza is a very popular spot!
DeleteHi Dawn, I am really glad for your going to the reunion. I like to go to mine also, they are in Tekamah, Nebraska, about 35 miles north of Omaha. They last one I attended was my 60th in 2011 but for COVID conditions I missed 2021.
ReplyDeleteDucks are always good for "D" words, our library family has been around for several years. Thanks for the Dingy photo, I always wondered what happened to them when the owner left the ship. I thought perhaps they'd all have pickups to haul them home.

Jim,

I doubt if I'll ever be able to post. I did get signed into blogger so that google now owns my soul but still he won't let me post right. Some will, I don't know the difference, it might be the ones which allow any to post. I changed mine, it was blogger only but now I see that wasn't good for some. Most get a blogger account but never use it to have a blogger blog.
..
I guess, I do not know the difference either. I do see your posts. I allow comments from anyone. But as an author of the blog, I choose to keep or delete comments if I find any offensive. I've never had a problem. Happy Friday, Jim!
DeleteGlad to know you are back from your travels and you posts has been missed. I did et your comments on my blog today. That reunion must have been such fun and I am glad you enjoyed it. Love those tall masted ships in harbour Dawn and That is a superb Mallard image, I have been away a LOT to the I.O.W as my daughter had a bad car accident and needed help and now I am about to go to Sweden for a coule of weeks as her daughter and my my first granddaughter is getting married. it is so exciting so probably will not be commenting while away although I am trying to make my posts and put them on schedule during that time so that others have photos to see.
