Rock CAIRN
A stack or pile of rocks, made by humans. I see these at the seacoast, and at local beaches all the time. They've become very popular. My daughter loves to build them when she visits me, from Colorado. I spotted it, sitting all alone, along the coast of Rye, New Hampshire
He was just sitting in my front yard, during our last snow storm, a few weeks ago.
I've been making these since 2007, for Christmas presents. This is my favorite calendar,
but I say that every year!

...Darn, I didn't think about CAIRN, I have several pictures of them. Perhaps the next time around.
ReplyDelete...I love your CARDINAL, we had one at out feeder this morning.
...I'm sure that you CAN make some beautiful CALENDARS with your pictures.
...there two kinds of CONCRETE, CRANKED CONCRETE and CONCRETE that will CRACK!
Thank Dawn for COMING by, take CARE.
I learned about cairns here today. Thank you, I have seen a few on beaches without knowing they had a name. Your cardinal find is pretty. We had a pair come through our back yard last fall.
