White horse - Maine USA

...Dawn you have a WONDERFUL WHITE post. All of the images are a delight, but the WAGON takes the prize! Thanks so much for stopping by, take care.
ReplyDeleteNice shot of the kingbird. I would love to give that pup a pet and I absolutely love your white horse. He's a beauty. The wagon shot is a great find! Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour bird pictures are really good. This Kingbird looks so proud. Your white horse is pretty. It has the gray specks like my Minnie, (mottled??), but Minnie's ears were longer and I don't remember their insides to be dark colored. Before I was riding her she had gotten a terrible fistula in her mane. The vet had to cut it out and ever after we kept her mane cropped.
ReplyDeleteShe was the horse I rode to a country school three miles away for grades nine and ten. For the last two I went to town school in Tekamah, Nebraska.
After you get past Omaha, take the Morman or the Blair bridge over to U.S. Hwy 75. It will go through Herman and then Tekamah on your way to Souix Falls. They have a nice museum north right after the businesses, my dad was on the board there and did a lot of volunteer work for the museum. It isn't open every day for visitors but mention my name and the will show you around. They all liked him a lot.
