    Hi Dawn ~~ This is a wonderful blog, most every thing I've spotted is cheerful. I love the barn collection and so did a search on mine for "bar". The first to come up was a picture of our old barn, now deserted with the doors all taken away before the poachers got them.
    The Bluebirds are nice in picture, hard on the pets. We had a momma woodpecker like yours when we lived north of Houston. Not many birds here in the west side.
    I lived in Manchester for three years. Our company had put in a spy satellite tracking station for the Air Force. It is still there, up on a little "mountain" at New Boston. Our job as engineers was to make it work and to teach the Air Force personnel how to operate it, fix and maintain, and to use the data downlinked to us on command. I worked myself out of a job and was transferred to NASA here in Houston. I am a Ham Radio (K1TLT, my call sign) person and quite often made a trip to Concord to the electronics store there, or to Boston to visit the Radio Shack.
    Come check out my B's, definitely not birds. But I could have done my old Bird, a Ford Thunderbird. Maybe next time.
