The Weekend Roundup "D"
"D" is for Dalmatian Dog and Duck
Barley the current Budweiser hitch Dog, at Merrimack, NH
met him while touring in Kentucky at Keeneland Race Track
This is the Drake (male) Wood Duck
I found him at a duck pond, sitting on a guardrail in York, Maine - below the female Wood Duck same location
"Favorites" of my Dad, dancing with my daughter at her wedding
and below enjoying coffee with me, he was 90
1925-2017 I miss him ♥
"D" is for Detail
amazing detail in nature
a Dandelion flower and a close up of a wild turkey

Love photos...great faces all :]
ReplyDelete...'D'awn, 'D'almatian 'D'og and 'D'uck what a 'D'elightful 'D' collection. A 'D'rake Wood 'D'uck sure is a beutiful creature. Your 'D'ad sure was an important part of you life. A 'D'andelion seed head is one of the wonders of nature. I'm amazed that you were able to get such a closeup of the turkey. Thanks for stopping by, I hope to see you again.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed my photos, Tom! But, I do have to give a lot of credit to the zoom lens on my camera, for the close ups! See you next week :)
DeleteLove both the Detail images and that is a lovely image of your and your daughter on her wedding DAY. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteGreat Roundup! Sweet photo of your dad dancing with your daughter. So hard to lose our dear parents. Hope your weekend is going well.
ReplyDeleteThose wood duck shots were a lucky moment - what beautiful creatures they are. We occasionally see one up here too. Lovely to see the pictures of your Dad. They form great memories. The wild turkey is a great shot too! They are usually so timid and I can never get a good shot, even with a zoom lens.
