2nd Annual Colonel Classic 5K
Ledyard, CT
Many years ago these four boys met each other at Ledyard High School, in Connecticut! They are graduates of the very first graduating class, LHS 1967 and all of them were on the first LHS Cross Country team. They have remained good friends through the years :)
Two years ago the Colonel Classic 5K road race began, all the money goes for scholarships. The route, is the exact route that the team ran during their four years in high school...so AWESOME!

I'm not even laughing at the shorts. because here in Minnesota we see it all the time during warmer days in winter. Even sometimes when it's really cold out too! Great post and photos!
