adorable ♥
Nineteen Mile Bay in Tuftonboro, NH
I first noticed them a few weeks ago when the babies were so tiny they could have fit in the palm of your hand...just cute little yellow ducks! I was not able to get a good picture at that time, the parents were so protective of them.
Baby Canada geese are called goslings, they hatch in springtime and have yellow feathers like baby ducklings. They will follow "mom and dad" around for about two months until they are ready to learn to fly. By the time fall is here, they will accompany their parents on their migration south.
